Screen Music Awards move to Melbourne
After years in Sydney, the 2010 Screen Music Awards will be held at BMW Edge in Melbourne on November 9.
Composer Paul Grabowsky will return to conduct a live orchestra and perform a selection of the nominated compositions. The hosts will be The Chaser’s Chris Taylor and Andrew Hansen.
The awards are presented by APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and the AGSC (Australian Guild of Screen Composers), and cover 12 categories representing feature films, children’s television, advertising, documentaries, short films and everything in between.
