The announcement;

$1.2 MILLION LONGTAIL UX LOAN TO CREATE 55 JOBS

The NSW Government is backing a former Google employee and a successful internet entrepreneur to help businesses improve their search rankings to compete on a global scale with multinationals like Amazon and eBay.

Jobs for NSW Chairman David Thodey said Longtail UX was being supported with a $1.2 million loan to kickstart the company’s national and international expansion, set to create 55 jobs over five years.

“Longtail UX is another fantastic example of now Jobs for NSW helps our brightest businesspeople overcome barriers to finance so they can grow and create jobs,” Mr Thodey said.

“Jobs for NSW is backing the company’s patented technology with a Strategic Growth Loan – one of a range of financial products offered to fast-growing businesses, startups, or businesses in emerging sectors.”

Longtail UX has developed new search engine optimisation (SEO and SEM) technology which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to connect customers to products in one click.

Company co-founder and CEO Andreas Dzumla said he had drawn on his extensive experience at Google to develop patented software which has been 10 years in the making.

“Our software is unique because usually when it comes to SEO it is very hard to measure the impact on the business.

“Longtail UX answers the users’ question on the first page with the most relevant content from anywhere on the client’s website – dramatically increasing conversion rates.

“With Longtail UX we increase traffic to a client’s website but unlike other SEO products you can measure exactly what we contribute in revenue to the client.”

Longtail UX executive chairman and co-founder Will Santow said that the support from Jobs for NSW had been extremely valuable for Longtail UX at an important point in the company’s evolution.

“These funds will allow us to accelerate our growth plans so that we can hire additional developers, sales personnel, project managers and software engineers to really build out our team as we pursue our plans to expand our presence into key international markets,” he said.

“We are very proud to have been selected by Jobs for NSW and we really appreciate the support the team has given us throughout the process.”
