Sefiani expands Creative Content Hub with appointment of content director

Independent public relations and strategic communications agency Sefiani Communications Group has appointed Taylor Campbell as content director as part of the expansion of the agency’s Creative and Content Hub.

Campbell joins Sefiani from Finchco, where she was seconded into the marketing team at Westpac Banking Group as PR & Content Specialist, responsible for managing owned and paid content strategies, content marketing and creation, end-to-end digital experiences and paid media partnerships.

Before Westpac, Campbell worked at Charles Sturt University for four years as content marketing officer, heading up the content marketing for student recruitment and communication.

Her new remit will see Campbell work across Sefiani’s broad range of clients and industry sectors offering strategic counsel and end-to-end strategies for content, digital, social and paid media partnerships.

Sefiani’s director of strategy and creative, Nicole Thurston said, “In a talent-tight market, having the specialist skills and industry experience of Taylor in the Sefiani team is really exciting. Taylor’s appointment comes off the back an increased demand for Sefiani’s creative and content services, where we use data and storytelling to build brands and executive profiles that are culturally meaningful and advocate positive change for a better future.”

Commenting on her new role, Campbell said, “I have always admired Sefiani and their role in enabling clients to be agents of change, and am excited to bring my specialist skillset to the team. My formative roles in PR built an innate curiosity and creativity that I apply to content marketing and digital strategies. I’m motivated by data-driven decision making and creating content that connects – and this role will allow me to do just that for leading Australian and global organisations.”

Campbell’s appointment is supported by the expansion of a number of internal roles within Sefiani, with account managers Shannon O’Mara and Luke Ireland bringing their technical skills in creative strategy and production into the Creative and Content Hub.

The Content Hub is being expanded off the back of a year of strong growth and client wins at Sefiani, including Henkel, moomoo and Gardening Responsibility. The agency also took home the award for PR Agency of the Year – Midsize at the Mumbrella CommsConn awards last month.
