Seven News and Downton Abbey win the Sunday ratings race
Seven had a successful Sunday night with the news at 6pm and Downton Abbey at 8:30 ranking as the top two programs of the night.
The news pulled in an audience of 1.71 million while the period drama received 1.68 million – according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam – handing an easy win to Seven with 27.3%. Both Nine and Ten’s shares were below 20%.
Masterchef came in third with 1.6 million, slightly down on last Sunday.
Dancing With The Stars dropped from its fourth-place ranking last week to 5th, with its audience dropping by 36,000.
