Seven on a winner with Winners & Losers sneak peak
Despite delivering an audience of more than 2m, Seven’s Packed To The Rafters series finale was not top program of Tuesday night.
Instead, that accolade went to the network’s 5m,01s preview of high school reunion drama Winners & Losers which was just long enough to be classified as a programme in its own right by OzTam. It averaged 2.24m viewers, according to preliminary overnight ratings.
As a result, Seven’s Parenthood, which rated 962,000, was bumped out of the top ten.
However, there was a worry for Seven with Iron Chef slipping below 1m, rating 905,000, 13th for the night.
For Nine, Top Gear Australia was also a struggler, rating 974,000.
Ten’s best performer of the night was Talkin Bout Your Generation, with 1.175m.

Seven is promoting Winners and Losers as “from the makers of Packed to the Rafters”. i think that means it was invented by Bevan Lee – no other Rafters people have been involved unless they’re being hidden by the producers.

This doesn’t make sense to me. OzTam as saying over 2.5m viewers tuned in to watch something that wasn’t promoted and only lasted 5 minutes then over 4 million turned off after it was done? Or do I have this wrong?
