Seven pulls ahead of Nine last night as Forever slips

RBTSeven easily won the TV Ratings last night, claiming an audience share of 24.4 per cent well ahead of its closest rival Nine which managed a share of 16.8 per cent, with My Kitchen Rules the most watched show of the evening with a metro audience of 1.465m.

It easily out-rated Nine’s RBT in the 7.30pm timeslot which pulled a metro audience of 652,000 and was Nine’s most-watched non-news show of the evening.

On Ten, Attenborough and the Giant Egg in the same timeslot grabbed a metro audience of 440,000. The ABC’s 7.30 easily out-rated both RBT and Attenborough, with the show watched by 701,000 metro viewers.

Also on the ABC, Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell on at 8.30pm, was watched by 763,000 metro viewers, down slightly from last week’s audience of 782,000.

Nine’s US crime series Forever, also in the 8.30pm timeslot, pulled a metro audience of 481,000 across all five capital cities after only airing in Sydney and Brisbane last week. A second episode at 9.30pm was watched by 417,000. It was still down on the week before when it aired across all cities, with 525,000 metro viewers tuning in.

It easily beat Ten’s local drama Wonderland which grabbed an audience of 384,000.

In the 9pm timeslot, Seven’s Criminal Minds was watched by 888,000 metro viewers.

In news, Nine News at 6pm was the most-watched show, pulling a metro audience of of 1.057m, dropping away to 971,000 at 6.30pm. Seven News at 6pm was watched by 1.053m, dropping to 1.030 at 6.30pm.

Across the demographics, My Kitchen Rules was the most-watched show across all age groups, while Criminal Minds was the second most-watched show.
