News Seven to air magic special September 12, 2012 11:11 by Colin Delaney 3 Seven is to experiment with magic in prime time with a one hour special featuring illusionist and 2011 Australia’s Got Talent runner-up Cosentino. The show, shot as an in-house production, will air next Wednesday at 7.30pm. Cosentino – The Grand Illusionist features his theatre show at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre in March as well as street performances and a ‘death defying escape’. Seven ran a promo during last night’s The X Factor. The X Factor, which has been running Monday-Wednesday at 7.30pm will move to two episodes a week. A spokesperson for the network said the special was a one-off and not to expect more Australia’s Got Talent alumni to receive specials. Cosentino was runner up in the 2011 series to singer Jack Vidgen. Cosentino is the 2012 winner of the international Merlin Award for Most Original Magician. He is amazing :-). I was at his Regent Theatre show in March and was blown away by just how spectacular a production it was. I’m really looking forward to watching the TV special on Wednesday night.
