Seven to air magic special

Seven is to experiment with magic in prime time with a one hour special featuring illusionist and 2011 Australia’s Got Talent runner-up Cosentino.

The show, shot as an in-house production, will air next Wednesday at 7.30pm. Cosentino – The Grand Illusionist features his theatre show at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre in March as well as street performances and a ‘death defying escape’.

Seven ran a promo during last night’s The X Factor.

The X Factor, which has been running Monday-Wednesday at 7.30pm will move to two episodes a week. A spokesperson for the network said the special was a one-off and not to expect more Australia’s Got Talent alumni to receive specials.

This guy is amazing – saw him on Australia’s Got Talent (last year I think or was it year before) – anyway, reminds me of days watching David Copperfield when I was a teen ager…

Ive seen Cosentino live. He is amazing :-). I was at his Regent Theatre show in March and was blown away by just how spectacular a production it was. I’m really looking forward to watching the TV special on Wednesday night.
