Seven’s Make You Laugh Out Loud gains more than 150,000 viewers, The Block wins night

Nine’s The Block was the most watched non-news program for the second night in a row, pulling 828, 000 metro viewers.

However, the program did not attract as many viewers as Wednesday night, which had 912,000 metro viewers tuning in at 7:30pm.

Also at 7:30pm, 588,000 viewers watched Ten’s The Bachelorette, down from 599,000 viewers last Thursday.

Seven’s Make You Laugh Out Loud, which ran in the 8:00pm time slot attracted 173,000 viewers more than last week, pulling 626,000 viewers for the evening.

The ABC’s Silvia’s Italian Table, which also ran at 8:00pm, pulled 461,000 viewers.

Across the key advertising demographics, Gogglebox, The Block, and The Bachelorette placed top three across all age brackets (16-39), (18-49), (25-54).

Ten’s Gogglebox pulled 690,000 viewers at the 8:40pm slot, an increase from last week’s 670,000 metro viewers.

Gogglebox won the time slot, with Nine’s premiere US celebrity travel adventure show, Better Late than Never pulling 661,000 viewers on opening night.

In news, Seven won the night, with 953,000 viewers tuning in at 6:00pm, and 921,000 viewers at 6:30pm. This was ahead of Nine’s 889,000 viewers at 6:00pm, and 879,000 viewers at 6:30pm.

Channel Seven won the evening with an audience share of 29.9% while Nine wasn’t far behind at 25.2% Ten had an audience share of 21.1% and the ABC, an audience share of 16.6%.
