Hi Mr Bouris,
I just watched your latest episode of the mentor about the family business that repaired , Mowers, Motorbikes & Pool supplies.
My husband & I also have a Mower Shop located in Tweed Heads Nsw.
My husband also uses hard copy job cards. We recently had a virus go through our systems so we were forced to change everything over to MYOB (huge job)
So we use myob for point of sale, stock inventory, wages etc and add the jobs into the system as they are finished.
Having recently changed to this new system I’m quite hesitant to change again as it cost us a lot of time and money. But in order to make our shop run more efficiently what system did you recommend for the Shop in Victoria?
And what costs are involved?
We pay around $90/ month for MYOB account Wright plus (which our accountant loves) and therefore keeps our accounting costs down.
We too have quite a strained work/life relationship as my husband has been in the business around 30 or so years and he does everything in the business.
As I said we have a job card system and when we’re busy it’s crasy, job cards go missing, ordering of parts, inventory.
Things aren’t run the best way but watching your show has inspired me to make a few changes.
What is the name of the computer softeware you recommended to the mower/motorbike shop?
Cost involved etc
Costs involved about migranting over etc.
Thanks for your new show, I’m really enjoying it .
Kind regards
