Shock wins Tropfest 2010

ShockAbe Forsythe’s short Shock won the first prize at last night’s Tropfest 2010; the award was presented by US actor Elijah Wood.

The 28-year old director said his short, about a morning radio host whose on-air personality conceals the desperation and frustration of his private life, was inspired by radio and TV personality Kyle Sandilands. Forsythe first entered Tropfest when he was 16, and won second place last year with Being Carl Williams.

Shock can be seen here.
