Who gets to decide which media companies are deserving: Facebook or the ACMA?
Welcome to Unmade, written on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon at Sisters Beach, Tasmania.
Did I check the Melbourne earthquake wasn’t sending a tsunami in my direction? Well, I did gaze anxiously at the horizon from the deck for a minute or two, then forgot about it and went back down to my (not even ten metres above sea level) office.
Happy Restless Legs Syndrome Awareness Day.
Today’s writing soundtrack: Original Pirate Material from The Streets.
Restless legs are a syndrome?! Awesome! I always get in trouble from my wife for jiggling at restaurants, next time I’ll tell her she is being discriminatory.
I have recently discovered – just in time for the launch of Unmade – that there are multiple days for everything!
Perhaps you could update us on how Mumbrella is going with this problem…remember you said you were going to give a really good go about 8 months back??? And what perspective Mumbrella actually has on the situation if they aren’t able to get into the club.
Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the question. As I’m no longer on Mumbrella staff, this is no longer up-to-the-minute information. But until I left, both organisations had politely acknowledged our entreaties and then taken it no further despite a number of nudges.
The next step was to apply to join the ACMA register.
Cheers,
Tim
