Sigma Healthcare expands Haystac account to PR agency of record
Pharmacy network Sigma Healthcare has appointed Haystac as its PR agency of record.
Haystac will be responsible for the business’ full retail portfolio, expanding its previous remit working on the Amcal and Guardian brands to include Chemist King, Discount Drug Store Pharmasave and WholeLife.
Haystac managing director, Simone Pipkorn, said: “We couldn’t be happier to become the agency of record for Sigma and build on the great work we’ve already been doing with the business over the past six years.
“We’ve built a solid relationship through our work with Amcal and Guardian Pharmacy and are excited to partner with the team to deliver powerful communications support for the other brands.”
Haystac will manage both B2B and B2C media relations, social media management, content creation, influencer engagement and event support. It will also provide communications support to Sigma Healthcare.
“As one of Haystac Brisbane’s longest standing clients, we are delighted that Sigma Healthcare has chosen us to deliver PR support for the business at large,” said Haystac general manager, Kate Ward.
“We look forward to applying our experience and insight to develop a cohesive PR strategy that will allow Sigma to grow its network and connect to customers through meaningful communications.”
Sigma general manager of pharmacy, Adam Goss, added: “Haystac has been an invaluable and trusted partner over the past six years, delivering incredible results time and time again.
“We’ve enjoyed many successful campaigns together including, most recently, Amcal’s Pharmacy Champions campaign, which has significantly bolstered engagement amongst our valued franchise partners.
“Given Haystac’s proven track record and their in-depth knowledge of our business, they were the right choice to allow us to consolidate our PR for a more strategic and streamlined communications approach across all our pharmacy brands.”
In October, Haystac was named PR agency of record by Jaguar Land Rover following a competitive pitch. 2020 also saw the agency add Springfree Trampoline, Bensons showbags and Girl Guides Victoria to its roster.
