Simon Veksner joins DDB Sydney
DDB Sydney has appointed Simon Veksner to head up its creative department.
The announcement:
Sydney, Australia – DDB Sydney has strengthened the leadership of its creative department with the appointment of Simon Veksner from BBH London as Creative Director. The move re-unites him with former colleagues Dylan Harrison and Chris Brown.
Veksner spent 7 years at DDB London, during which time he co-created the Cannes Grand Prix winning VW ‘Cops’ ad with Harrison and has spent the last four years at BBH in London, where he was responsible for the creative direction of the Vodafone and Gordon’s Gin accounts.
I wonder what would happen if all the really big talent split up and went to all the really small agencies?
Would we still come out with really amazing campaigns? Would we have more amazing campaigns? Or would the industry just push out a bunch of average slightly entertaining campaigns?
