Six Black Pens wins PEXA creative account

Digital property settlement agency PEXA has appointed Sydney-based strategic customer experience agency Six Black Pens.

The appointment comes as the agency – founded by the NSW, Victorian, WA and SA state governments to digitise property settlements – looks to expand its Queensland footprint.

Six Black Pens will lead the creative campaign rolling out across across digital, print and out of home, to build awareness of PEXA among property lawyers, real estate agents, developers and consumers in urban and regional areas.

The agency specialises in financial services and large corporate sectors, working closely with big-brand banks and other financial institutions, as well as complex corporate clients including NAB, MLC, TCorp, SEEK and Essential Energy.

Founder and creative director Oli Vickery said the agency was delighted to have been given a chance to demonstrate its expertise for the organisation.

“Our business is based on taking the time to truly understand the business problems we’re trying to solve and then delivering cut-through, targeted communications that deliver strong results,” said Vickery.

In July last year, the organisation came into the public spotlight when a Melbourne couple lost $250,000 when a conveyancer’s PEXA account was breached. In both Victoria and WA, it is mandatory to use the service for property transactions.

Late last year the planned stock market float of PEXA fell over which resulted in a CBA-led private consortium taking over the business.

PEXA’s executive manager for marketing, Nerida Power, said: “We were impressed by the team’s understanding of the complex B2B environment we operate in and the opportunity we have to transform conveyancing in QLD. We’re really excited to be working with them on this major new campaign.”
