Sling & Stone wins East Imperial’s PR account in AUNZ

VCCP agency Sling & Stone have won East Imperial’s PR account in Australia and New Zealand.

East Imperial, founded in 2012 in New Zealand, produces a line of branded mixers that are currently sold throughout Asia Pacific, US and Europe and Middle East and North Africa.

East Imperial’s range utilises authentic Asian ingredients, a 1903 East African recipe, and a cold filling batch manufacturing process.

Sling & Stone will be launching new East Imperial products and creating partnerships with some of Australia and New Zealand’s biggest distilleries.

East Imperial global head of digital, Matthew Ravenhall, said: East Imperial is an innovative product and a premium brand loved by top mixologists around the world. Which is why Sling & Stone is the perfect agency partner to help take us to the next level in the ANZ market, they are a premium team with innovative ideas and we are confident they will help take our brand to the next stage of growth.”

Sling & Stone global head of consumer, Kasi Talbot, commented: “The beverage category for tonics, mixers and non-alcoholic drinks is truly an exciting space right now and we are excited to bring our experience and passion to this incredible brand. East Imperial has punched above its weight globally since it was created, and we look forward to bringing their delicious drinks to more glasses this summer and beyond.”

The new win comes after VCCP Business, part of VCCP,  acquired the Australian PR and communications agency last month, which has offices in Sydney, Auckland and Los Angeles.

The deal was confirmed by Sling & Stone founder and CEO, Vuki Vujasinovic for an undisclosed fee, and will see the agency become part of VCCP Business, and join its network of specialist agencies globally.

Sling & Stone will now work in partnership with tech agencies, Method in the North America and Harvard in the UK, as well as advocacy agency in Evidence to create a global PR and communications group.

The agency’s current client list includes TwitterGoogle, Stripe, Xero, and Zip.
