Absolut has consumers collaborate with artists for The Blue Room events

Absolut is to launch a new limited edition vodka through a series of events featuring work created by Australian artists in a collaboration with consumers.

The campaign calls for “creative thinkers” to submit their ideas via the brand’s Facebook page and those selected will create their work with participating artists for The Blue Room event series that will kick off in October.

The campaign, unique to Australia, was created by agencies including Sound Alliance (Experiential), Cav Con (PR) and Tongue (Digital).

Australian sculptor Dion Hortsmans, fashion designer Emma Mulholland, audiovisual DJ Sampology, and digital artist Jimmy McGilchrist are participating in the campaign.

Absolut has previously partnered with artists Damien Hirst, Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, and last year had a partnership with Swedish House Mafia outside of Australia.
