Solstice Media team expands with three new hires

Solstice Media has revealed three new hires – Nicole Dale as event and partnerships manager, and Isabella Kelly and Charlie Gilchrist as journalists.

The announcement:

South Australian-based national publishing company, Solstice Media, has appointed three new staff members including event and partnerships manager, Nicole Dale, and journalists Charlie Gilchrist and Isabella Kelly.

Solstice Media is a unique national company working on innovative national publishing projects, including its flagship publication, the award-winning daily digital news service, InDaily, as well as SALIFE which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, CityMag, which has been running for a decade, and The Post.

Nicole Dale brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to the position of events and partnerships manager, including developing and implementing national and international tactical marketing campaigns.

Most recently, Nicole worked in Project Marketing for the Department for Trade and Investment. Some of her duties included the project management of pitch submissions and of integrated marketing campaigns.

Over her career, she has provided effective brand management, worked closely with media agencies, and managed the acquisition and retention of corporate partnerships.

Charlie recently joined the team after completing an internship at Solstice Media. As a journalist, he brings knowledge from his recently completed Graduate Diploma of Journalism at Deakin University.

In his previous role as communications officer at the National Trust of South Australia, he operated various social media pages and websites and contributed to the Trust’s magazine, Heritage Living. He has also contributed to the University of Adelaide student magazine, On Dit.

Isabella is a passionate university graduate with a double degree in Law and Journalism from the University of South Australia.

As a recently appointed journalist, Isabella brings experience of working in The Advertiser newsroom, writing during an internship with News Corp and Lot Fourteen, and as Sub-Editor on a University of South Australia publication.

The new appointments joins a team of over 100 staff operating over three offices.
