Sons of Catalano and Hywood launch another property marketing service
The sons of former Domain boss Antony Catalano and Fairfax CEO Greg Hywood, Jordan Catalano and Tom Hywood, have launched a second real estate marketing platform with a focus on land and property packages.
In 2014, the Melbourne Grammar educated pair launched their first business, an off the plan apartment marketing service, Apartment Developments.
The new service extends the Apartment Developments marketing concept to developers and investors in suburban house and land packages.
Hywood spent five years in the sales team at The Weekly Review which was then run by Anthony Catalano, which Fairfax took a 50% stake in 2011 before buying out the rest of the business in 2015.
27 year old Catalano, who joined forces with his school friend after completing his commerce degree in 2014 to launch Apartment Living, said of their new venture: “We’ve launched the new House & Land Developments offering, currently available in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, in direct response to market demand.
“Apartment Developments gave us a framework and proven growth model that allows us to capitalise on a gap in the market for a price conscious and user- friendly marketing platform for the house and land sector.”
Why does it need to mention what school they went to Ed?

I presume the article is regurgitating a press release that the 2 of them put out. In which case, what schmucks to skite about where they went to school.

Because in spite of an industry crying out for meritocracy, the immutable facts remain: all that matters is what high school you went to (because we all know that you learn everything you need to up until the age of 18) and who your folks are
