South African Tourism opens tender for media and advertising agencies
South African Tourism is inviting media and advertising agencies to respond to a tender seeking a local agency for a period of three years.
Mumbrella understands UM is the incumbent agency globally.
In 2016, The Hallway won South Africa’s PR account following a competitive pitch. That appointment dethroned PPR after nine years, but the agency won back the account last year.
Regarding the tender, the appointed agency will support South African Tourism, based in Sydney, to promote tourism to and within South Africa, targeting Australians and New Zealanders.
South African Tourism is accountable to the country’s Parliament, and an organisation affiliated with the Government of the Republic of South Africa.
The full scope of services and tender requirements will be posted within a bid document at 8am tomorrow, Saturday 9 November.
