Southern Comfort rolls out Young Gun spot in third instalment of ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’

Southern Comfort has rolled out the latest ad in its ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’ series in Australia with the latest spot  ‘Young Gun’ showing a bar tender pouring the drink “with style and swagger”.

It is the latest spot from Wieden + Kennedy New York and follows on from ‘Beach’ in 2012 and ‘Shampoo’ in 2013. Both campaigns attracted over 2.5 million views respectively.

The ‘Young Gun’ advertising campaign rolled out at Val Morgan cinemas yesterday and will be supported with a digital campaign led by social media agency, Society.

Darren West Southern Comfort Marketing Manager for Australia said:  “Australians really seemed to respond to ‘Shampoo’ and we hope to get that same reaction from ‘Young Gun’.

“The ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’ attitude obviously has strong cross-over down under and what’s been so great about the campaign is how organically Southern Comfort has featured in the storytelling of each entry. The ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’ campaign has a strong international profile now and we hope to raise it even further with Young Gun in Australia”.
