Specialist PR consultancy NMD PR launches focusing on fintech, technology and disruptor businesses

NMD PR today announces its consulting arm that specialises in fintech, technology and disruptor companies.

Founded by public relations specialist and former journalist Nancy McDonald, NMD PR boasts specialist skills in media relations, disruptive campaigns and issues and crisis management providing hands on senior level support to its client base.

Abandoning the traditional agency model, NMD PR works as an extension of its client’s teams and only represents one sector leader at a time, hand-picking businesses that are breaking the mould, causing positive disruption in their field and are reputable industry leaders with a strong purpose.

Based in Sydney, NMD PR prides itself on working swiftly, creatively and working to tight deadlines whilst remaining realistic and inclusive in the PR process for all its clients operating out of Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Having worked in the media industry for ten years as a journalist and director at leading PR firms, founder Nancy McDonald wanted to create a PR consultancy that was unique and wasn’t like anything else in the marketplace.

“One of the things I’m most proud of about NMD PR is there’s no cut, copy paste or cookie cutter approach with how we conduct ourselves and how we advise our clients. We’re hands on and we really give a shit about delivering measurable and real outcomes for the businesses we represent. Each of our clients has a purpose and we choose client’s based on our relationship and connection with the founder,” says McDonald.

“No one day is the same for us, one day we might be kicking off an Equity Crowdfunding campaign, to providing media advice on an IPO, launching a new model or technology device, launching an international company into the Australian market or creating a world first for out travel client,” she says.

“With every client we create a personalised strategy that applies a wealth of knowledge to deliver what success looks like to their business and each time its vastly different, we also really value the media and try and work with them on every story to meet their deadlines, expectations and hold tremendous value around exclusives and exclusive content and we encourage all our clients to do and think the same and they do,” she said.

This week, NMD PR will celebrate its client Equitise, Australia’s leading Equity Crowdfunding platform being named as Equity Crowdfunding Platform of the year at the FINNIES, the launch of international delivery tech platform VROMO’s arrival into Australia and the securing of foreign strategic investment for neo bank disruptor Douugh.

NMD public relations clients include Hyundai, The Bali Bible, TRAVLR, Equitise, WeDispatch, Quad IQ, Slipstream, VROMO, Douugh, 33 Bondi and Direct Injections Technologies to name a few.
