Sportsbet celebrates the go-getters in latest campaign

Sportsbet has released a campaign that is all about championing Australians who aren’t afraid to try new things.

Developed by the gambling company’s in-house creative team, and production agency Palomina, the campaign’s films spotlight various Australians in their attempts to accomplish both simple and hard tasks, with Sportsbet rewarding them for simply having a go.

The campaign first went live in the market during the NRL’s 2025 Las Vegas matches last weekend, and is currently playing across radio, TV, and social platforms.

“Aussies love getting out there and having a crack,” Callan McKean, creative director at Sportsbet, said.

“Whether it’s ordering something that isn’t butter chicken, a ridiculous shot at goal from the boundary at a local footy game, or starting their own mullet hairdresser business – the willingness to try something new is part of the Aussie spirit and is celebrated whether they succeed or fail.”

“This campaign really resonates with my style of humour and the way I love to direct performances – sharp, natural, and full of character,” said the spot’s director Julian Lucas.

“I’m so happy with how it’s all come together and to do it with such an incredible cast and crew who brought real energy and humour to every scene.”

The gambling platform’s latest campaign comes one week after it was named as one of several major sponsors for the NRL’s 2025 season, along with Chemist Warehouse, KFC, Rexona, and Jim Beam.
