Spotify and ARIA Awards 2025 unite to celebrate Australian artists globally
Spotify has partnered with the ARIA Awards 2025 to launch a worldwide out-of-home campaign celebrating local talent and encouraging fans to vote directly in-app.

The announcement:
In partnership with the ARIA Awards 2025, Spotify has launched a nationwide and international out-of-home (OOH) campaign, celebrating the calibre of incredible Australian talent nominated for an ARIA Award, and reminding fans they can vote for their favourite artists directly in the Spotify app.
The campaign spans more than 800 high-impact placements across Australia and key global markets, including the US, UK, and more. Each billboard features ARIA Award-nominated artists, with several including QR codes linking fans straight to Spotify, where voting takes place. ARIA Award winners will also be celebrated around the world on some of the globe’s most iconic placements, including Times Square NYC and Leicester Square London, following the ARIA Awards on Wednesday, 19 November.Spotify’s partnership with the ARIA Awards 2025 complements Turn Up Aus, Spotify’s highly visible initiative to celebrate and uplift Australian artists, and a continuation of a 13-year commitment to championing local music. In addition to highly visible OOH, Spotify have been running its most extensive local on-platform campaign to date, encouraging millions of fans to support and vote for homegrown talent on the Spotify ARIA Awards hub. Alongside OOH, the campaign includes social activity, an ARIA Awards Spotify Artist Party, and an industry-first integration that embeds ARIA Award voting directly into Spotify playlists.
The partnership marks the first time Spotify has mobilised this feature in Australia, embedding public voting directly into playlists across four major ARIA Awards: Best Australian Live Act, Song of the Year, Best Video and Most Popular International Artist. Since launch, more than a quarter of a million Australians have cast votes through Spotify, with engagement already surpassing the past two years combined. The voting mechanic runs alongside voting on the ARIA website.
An ARIA Awards Hub, promoted on the Spotify homepage and available in search, houses voting-enabled playlists, nominee spotlights and curated collections that celebrate both emerging and iconic Australian artists. An eye-catching ARIA Awards tile on the Spotify homepage draws fans straight into the celebration, driving fans to the hub with multiple ways to connect: voting-enabled playlists, nominee spotlights across every major category, and curated collections to help fans discover more of the artists they love. A “Best of the ARIAs” shelf brings the nostalgia, from legendary winners to iconic Australian albums that defined generations.
This hub is part of Spotify’s most robust on-platform local campaign to date, connecting millions of fans to Australian artists. The campaign has already driven hundreds of thousands of additional streams for ARIA Award-nominated artists.
Rosie Rothery, head of marketing, Spotify ANZ, said: “The ARIA Awards 2025 campaign is Spotify’s most extensive local on platform promotion ever – from in-app voting to high-impact OOH celebrations, we’ve flexed the power of our platform and global footprint to put Australian artists and their success stories front and centre.
“I can’t wait to see nominees celebrated on billboards around Australia – and ARIA Award winners lit up in iconic placements from New York’s Times Square to London, Seoul and Cairo.”
Annabelle Herd, CEO of ARIA, said: “The ARIA Awards 2025 are shaping up to be the biggest global platform to date for the incredible Australian artists making waves in culture around the world. As part of the ARIA Awards’ partnership with Spotify we are thrilled to bring this year’s nominees to the streets that countless Australians travel day-in, day-out, and connect more of our music fans with more of our music than ever before. That’s before we even get to talk about the international celebration that follows for our winners, lighting up some of the world’s most iconic locations. This is what Aus music looks like on the world’s stage!”
