Stan’s Bump to wrap as only Aussie show ‘to be commissioned by a streamer for five seasons’

Popular Australian TV series Bump is in production for its fifth and final season and will wrap with some impressive accolades.

Now filming in Sydney, the comedy drama series is the only Australian Original series to be commissioned by a streamer for five seasons.

“We are privileged to have worked with Roadshow Rough Diamond having had the opportunity to gift Bump to our audience every summer since it premiered in 2021,” Stan chief content officer, Cailah Scobie, told Mumbrella.

“The series has had a huge impact with fans who have grown up with and followed the character’s stories over the years with such passion and dedication.

“We are so proud of Bump for its exceptionally successful journey and the legacy it leaves.”

Bump stars Australian favourites Claudia Karvan and Nathalie Morris, while season five will see the return of stars like Angus Sampson, Christian Byers, Steph Tisdell and Dylan Alcott, who appeared as one of the headlining names at May’s Mumbrella 360 conference.

Ahead of the season four premiere last year, Stan celebrated the with a pop-up event at Glebe’s Baja Cantina.

The cast of the show attended to greet fans and hand out Empanada’s – a reference to the show’s Pica Del Sabor restaurant, featuring character Bernardita’s family recipe.
