Starcom Melbourne MD to leave the agency

Starcom Melbourne managing director Stuart Jaffray has resigned from the agency.

Jaffray will be finishing up at the Publicis Groupe agency in mid-September, with CEO Nick Keenan set to  lead the Melbourne operations.

Jaffray wrote on his LinkedIn that he is “very excited” about is to come in the next stage of his career, however at this stage did not give any clue to what that is.

“For now I reflect on what we have been able to achieve at the agency – we have retained, grown and recruited great talent and I am enormously proud of the skilled and capable team that I will leave behind.”

Starcom CEO, Nick Keenan said: “I’d like to thank Stuart for his valuable contribution to Starcom over the past three and half years. He has been a great asset to the leadership team and I know our Melbourne people will join me and in saying he will be missed. We wish him the very best of luck for the future.”

Jaffray joined Starcom in 2018, moving from car brand BMW, where he was GM of marketing. He took up the role in 2014, spending 11 years in total at the brand.

He replaced Peter Toone, who also spent 11 years at the agency.
