Starcom Sydney appoints new head of digital

Starcom Sydney has appointed Sarah Tillitt as head of digital, effective immediately.

Tillitt will be charged with “leading the digital and performance strategy, developing a culture of core product excellence and delivering solutions and value to clients across all channels”.

She will report to Starcom national head of investment and digital, Mark Duffy.

Tillitt said: “I’m very excited to join the talented group of people at Starcom, and I’m looking forward to building upon the impressive work they are delivering to drive digital maturity, innovation and successful business outcomes for our clients.”

Tillitt was most recently at OMD, leading the development and delivery of digital strategy, encompassing media, data and technology for clients.

The move sees her returning to Publicis Groupe, having previously worked in roles including group media director at Performics in the US, and as performance director at Match Media, acquired by Publicis in 2015.

Speaking on her appointment, Duffy said: “Sarah is an exceptional digital leader with proven experience in developing solutions and business growth for clients. Starcom is powered by our people and Sarah’s leadership, passion and credentials align perfectly with our vision for delivering digitally-led solutions for our clients and developing the skills and talent of our people.”

Starcom Sydney last month announced the promotion of Rebecca Ho as new head of investment. Martin Newman also joined from WPP as new chief client officer, on a maternity contract, to cover for Louise Romeo.
