Starts at 60 ventures into e-commerce, launches members-only club

Baby boomer publication Starts at 60 is launching a members-only club, offering deals and offers to subscribers in a number of sectors.

Starts at 60 Club is open to anyone over the age of 60 and will offer deals on events, leisure, travel, fashion, health, home and finance.

The new club will feature deals for members across a variety of different sectors

Rebecca Wilson, Starts at 60 founder and CEO, said the website provides users with a clear framework which allows them to make deals with brands.

“Our Australia- and New Zealand-wide audience is accessible to us via email, digital and social media and is hugely engaged on Facebook, enjoying our twice daily media emails, with up to 43 per cent open rates, and reading more than 175,000 page views of media daily on our website,” Wilson said.

“With such an active and engaged community, it makes sense to increase the value of their visits by offering products and services they need and want. That very engaged community sees us deliver high-quality performance measurement – something keenly sought by major brands.

“Our partners are hand-selected for their desire to bring good value and interesting experiences and offers to Australia’s over-60s,” she added.

“They respect the relationship we have built with our community and look to build on it.”

The new club follows the relaunch of Starts at 60 and sister brand Travels at 60 last year.
