Streem’s new analytics tools offer fresh Insights, instantly

Realtime media monitoring company Streem has revealed its new Instant Insights tool, along with the launch of Social Amplify, creating the media monitoring market’s most advanced analytics offering for comms teams.

The new Instant Insights enables communication teams to better analyse and demonstrate the value of their media coverage, at a time when earned media content is emerging as one of the strongest communication channels for corporate and government organisations.

Building on Streem’s licensed print, online, TV, radio and social media content access, the new Instant Insights introduces dozens of new realtime charts and metrics heavily-aligned to the work of communications teams.

The new Instant Insights includes the ability to analyse the impact of media coverage in realtime via up-to-the second Dashboards within the Streem platform, and create rich Insights reports that are customisable for each customer. Streem has also introduced shareable cloud reports, meaning media teams can now share a live cloud Dashboard of media analytics to senior stakeholders during breaking news events.

Streem has also launched Social Amplify, bringing together social and traditional media insights for the first time. Social Amplify shows the amplification of an online news story across social media platforms and allows media teams to track the trend of news content against both the social and traditional media audience response.

Streem’s Insights lead Asha Oberoi said the new Instant Insights and Social Amplify tools underscored the investment made by Streem into media teams and their need to demonstrate value across their organisations.

“Streem’s new Instant Insights tool, combined with Social Amplify, are a major step forward for media teams wanting to show the value of their work and to do this in an easy, visually striking way,” she said.

“Every media team using Streem now has access to the best news content and the best reporting capability, all in a single realtime platform.”

Streem CEO Elgar Welch said the new Instant Insights and strong social capabilities were a statement of intent by Streem to go deeper into measurement alongside media monitoring.

“With almost 500 organisations around Australia now using Streem, our mission is to connect realtime media monitoring with realtime measurement and analytics that change the game for comms teams,” he said.

Both the new Instant Insights and Social Amplify tools are available to all of Streem’s customers as part of their existing service at no additional cost.
