Suada launches pro bono PR workshops for good-purpose organisations

PR agency Suada has launched its inaugural PR for Good initiative, introducing 10 pro bono workshops offered to start-ups and community organisations that tackle social or environmental issues.

The announcement:

PR agency SUADA has announced its inaugural PR for Good™ initiative, which will launch in April with 10 pro bono workshops offered to startups and community organisations that are innovatively tackling a social or environmental issue. Organisations are being invited to submit their project or idea for consideration, along with details of what issue they are addressing and how.

Hosted by SUADA’s founder, Naomi Brooker, and supported by her team, these workshops are designed to help organisations who wouldn’t otherwise have access to tailored PR advice. The focus of the workshops will be led by the needs of the organisation, and can range from articulating key messages and an elevator pitch, to brainstorming influential stakeholders and ideas to target them, determining news ideas to pitch to media, or setting clear communications goals – so long as the goal of the workshop relates to what, how or where to say something, it’s on the table.

PR for Good™ is SUADA’s response to the urgent need to promote voices that are influencing positive, sustainable change – so long as issues such as climate change and social inequity exist, so too will PR for Good™ support organisations wanting to change things for the better.

How to apply
Organisations wanting to be considered for a pro bono workshop should email Naomi Brooker on naomi@suada.com.au with the following details:

  • Name, size and location of organisation or community group (please note: organisations must be based in Australia)
  • What issue they are addressing and how
  • Why they would like PR support
