Sunbeam campaign coincides with MasterChef series 3 launch
Sunbeam, a sponsor of MasterChef, is launching a new brand advertising campaign on Sunday to coincide with the launch of the third series of the popular show. The ad, created by Three Wise Women Creative, finishes with the line, “If only you could count on everything, the way you can count on Sunbeam.”
The music was produced by Emma Hoy at Turning Studios in Melbourne. The artist was Elliot Wheeler.
Sunbeam is also sponsoring the new MasterChef website and is the supplier of small kitchen appliances for the show.
“The MasterChef phenomenon has been fantastic for our brand and we look forward to continuing the relationship into the third series,” said Sunbeam CEO David Jackson.

Sunbeam – the kitchen appliance preferred by white, middle-class residents of Happy, Clappy Ad-Land. Who’d want something so out of touch with contemporary Australia hanging around in the kitchen? Looks like a bad attempt to do good advertising in 1973.

Lesson 1: Men are lazy. Women are healthy
Lesson 2: Men are silly. Women are trusting.
Lesson 3: Men are incompetent. Women are logical.
Congratulations, now take your spot in line with the seven thousand other ads that play on the ‘men are dumb’ concept.
