Sunday TV audience swaps spatulas for sequins

TV viewers have switched to Dancing With the Stars for their Sunday night reality contest fix.

Following the departure of Ten’s Masterchef, Seven’s Dancing With The Stars was an immediate beneficiary, pulling in a TV audience of over 1.6m on Sunday night – nearly half a million up on the previous week.

Ten saw an audience share of 29.8%, while Seven was on 29.7%. Nine rated 21.3%, the ABC 13.7% and SBS 5.6%.
