Sunday TV audience swaps spatulas for sequins
TV viewers have switched to Dancing With the Stars for their Sunday night reality contest fix.
Following the departure of Ten’s Masterchef, Seven’s Dancing With The Stars was an immediate beneficiary, pulling in a TV audience of over 1.6m on Sunday night – nearly half a million up on the previous week.
However, the combination of the Merlin finale and family movie Night At The Museum was enough for Ten to win Sunday by the narrowest of margins, according to preliminary TV ratings from OzTam.
Ten saw an audience share of 29.8%, while Seven was on 29.7%. Nine rated 21.3%, the ABC 13.7% and SBS 5.6%.
