Sunrise delivers its biggest ratings of the year
Seven’s Sunrise had its biggest audience since February 2009 on Tuesday with an average capital city audience of 454,000.
It beat its rival Today on Nine by 157,000 viewers, according to preliminary overnight figures from OzTam. The previous high so far this year for Sunrise was 449,000.
Meanwhile, Seven also had the top show of the day with Packed To The Rafters rating 1.685m.
However, it was given a close run by the first look at the Australian hosts of Top Gear Australia in the Top Gear Ashes challenge pairing them with the British hosts. It rated 1.538m.
The series debut of Survivor Nicaragua rated 798,000 for Nine.
Ten didn’t have a single show above 1m, with Talkin Bout Your Generation coming close with 999,000.
