SXSW in pictures: The good, the bad, and most importantly, the parties

SXSW 2024: the week where tech, advertising, film, music, education and culture from all over the world converge in an intense, melting-pot of inspiration and innovation.

This year’s festival saw keynotes from the Duchess of Sussex Megan Markle, journalists and presenters Katie Couric and Errin Haines, actress Brooke Shields, sociologist Nancy Wang Yuen, Patroen’s Jack Conte, The Black Key’s Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, and many more.

Five Australian productions landed in the SXSW Film & TV Festival, while Melbourne’s own creative agency TABOO presented a lesson in provocation, stripping down on stage.
