SXSW Sydney 2024 taps local brand agency for visual design

Independent Sydney-based brand agency, Studio 3AM, has been engaged by South by Southwest (SXSW) Sydney to design its visual identity and creative for this year’s event.

The partnership aims to serve as a catalyst for increasing the scale of the event, with the agency has tasked with expanding its reach to the whole Asia Pacific region – fostering creativity and innovation on a larger scale.

“We are extremely proud and excited to have been chosen to collaborate with the SXSW Sydney team on this inspiring project and iconic landmark event,” said Jonathan Key, founder and creative director at Studio 3AM.

“Our goal is to work together in creating a visual identity and marketing assets that embody the transformative impact of SXSW Sydney, spanning across print, digital, motion, and social media.”

Last year’s festival saw a total of 287,014 attendees, with 97,462 unique, including 758 members of the media. 41 countries were represented across the festival, across 1,178 sessions and events.

Colin Daniels, managing director at SXSW Sydney, added: “We’re so excited to share the SXSW Sydney 2024 visual identity created by Studio 3AM, as we open submissions to session select for conference content. Our screen, music and games festivals are also accepting submissions.”

SXSW Sydney is set to take place from October 14-20 this year.
