Sydney Hills and Hawkesbury Living expands under new masthead to become Greater Sydney Living

What was formerly Sydney Hills and Hawkesbury Living magazine has expanded under a new masthead. Greater Sydney Living magazine is part of the By Design Publishing Group and hit newsstands on June 14.

The announcement:

Greater Sydney Living announces the immediate release of its new look, new feel premium quarterly coffee table publication, profiling all that’s exciting in our region. It is committed to showcasing our dynamic urban lifestyle representing quality, respect and honesty to both inspire and to aspire to.

“We are well positioned to help grow a proud new identity for greater western Sydney, thereby bringing the region’s communities together with a common vision,” said publisher and editor-in-chief, Linda Gunek.

Having spotted a gap in the market, Linda decided to expand once again, to include the greater Sydney region hence this last rebrand to Greater Sydney Living.

“We are a vast area, and one full of unexpected finds. We showcase infrastructure and property, homes, interiors, entertainment, arts and culture, travel, fashion and beauty, dining, events, business, local heroes, celebrities, social issues and more.

Greater Sydney Living is the evolution of Sydney Hills and Hawkesbury Living which conservatively estimates a readership of up to 300,000 per quarterly edition.

“We give our advertisers and editorial sponsors an effective promotional medium that engages local target markets using high quality imagery and editorial in our Greater Sydney Living magazine. We’re uncompromising about our aspirations and excited about sharing the vision of all the greater west is becoming” Linda said.

Greater Sydney Living welcomed a new editor for its launch, Amanda Nicholls. Amanda brings a wealth of experience having edited national titles at Pacific Magazines and Next Media.

Linda Gunek has worked in the publishing industry for over 23 years beginning as a graphic designer specialising in magazine production through her business, byDesign Graphics Pty Ltd, which is still running.

Since launching the first edition of Sydney Hills Living four and half years ago, Linda has been learning the trade and has seen great results. “There have been so many changes to the industry, not the least of which is the digital presence, so we ensure our brand is seen across all media platforms – online, in print and across social media. I’m happy to announce we have a new website in development which will be very different to any other magazine site” said Linda.

She is in regular contact with the region’s residents and businesses, always looking for ways to serve and promote. She is also a strong advocate of integrity and ethics both personally and in business, providing quality products, collaborating, connecting, promoting and assisting however she is able.
