Target uses school holidays to spruik kids products in animated 3D ad

Target is using the upcoming school holidays to promote its low prices on kid’s item in a new animated campaign.

The spot, created by AJF Partnership Melbourne, features two children exploring and finding new toys and clothes.

Target general manager of marketing, Kenton Elliot, said: “This campaign gives us an opportunity to talk about the new lower prices we have dropped across 550 items in-store on toys and apparel for kids, while doing it in a fun and engaging way.

“It’s all about the Target model that is reinstated as a bold, modern symbol of confidence for our customers that represents amazing value and quality.”

AJF Partnership ECD, Joshua Stephens, said: “Everyone knows that kids need entertaining over the school holidays. So along with great products at fantastic prices we wanted to make sure the school holidays campaign was just as much fun.

“With modern animation anything is possible, and this is just the start of bringing a new, animated Target world to life. It’s like the Target we all grew up with is back, but in 3D.”

The campaign’s animation was by Cadre Pictures and media planning and buying by OMD.

It is running for two weeks across Channel 10, Nine and Seven across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional markets.
