Ten appoints Peta Webster to sales role

Full Circle’s Peta Webster has been appointed as Melbourne Sales Manager for Network Ten.

The move follows last week’s shake up which saw the merger of the sales teams from Full Circle and MTV Networks.

The announcement:

Network Ten today announced the appointment of Peta Webster to the newly created role of Melbourne sales manager.

Ms Webster joins Network Ten on 2 August 2010, reporting to the Network’s joint national sales manager Stephen Leeds.

Ms Webster is currently the Melbourne-based National Sales Director of Full Circle, a multiplatform

media and content business representing the advertising sales for a number of subscription TV channels. Prior to Full Circle, she spent six years with Seven Affiliate Sales (as Melbourne Sales Manager) and nine years with the Seven Network in sales management positions.

Announcing the appointment, Network Ten CEO Grant Blackley said: “We are delighted to welcome Peta to this vital new role at a time when we are continually expanding our offering to market.”

“Peta brings considerable industry experience in free-to-air television advertising across both metro and regional markets, as well as in the subscription TV sector.

Her addition to the team will further deepen our sales capabilities,” Mr Blackley said. Mr Leeds said: “Peta is a dynamic and results-driven sales executive, with strong credentials and relationships in our industry. She is well equipped to lead our Melbourne sales team, further developing the skill sets, agility and service for our advertisers in this key market”.

Ms Webster said: “I’m excited to be joining Network Ten, with its distinct and successful offerings for advertisers, and to have this opportunity to be part of its continued growth.”
