Ten buoyed by Aussie telemovie and Celebrity Masterchef

Ten enjoyed a strong ratings night, with Celebrity Masterchef and its new telemovie A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne helping it push ahead of Nine to take second place, behind Seven.  

While Seven continued to lead with a channel share of 28%, Ten came in second with 24.2%, while Nine was third with 22.7%, according to preliminary OzTam figures.

Celebrity Masterchef performed soldily, attracting over 1.2m viewers, while A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne saw almost 1.1m tune in to watch Australian actors Garry McDonald and David Lyons.

However, Seven took the top four spots, led by Border Security with 1.3m viewers, followed by Seven News, Today Tonight and Medical Emergency.
