Ten dominates Seven in overall network share; Nine wins the Monday

Network Ten has beaten Seven in an overall network share win on Monday night, finishing up on a share of 25.6%, while Seven finished on 22.4%.

It was the Nine network, however, which took out the top spot with a share of 27.2%, while ABC finished with a share of 17.2%.

Have You Been Paying Attention? on Ten won entertainment on Monday, with the episode airing to an average of 665,000 metro viewers, while the program also topped all three key advertising demos.

Next in entertainment was Ten’s new series, Hunted, which pulled in 638,000 metro viewers, followed by Back Roads on ABC with a metro audience of 513,000 viewers.

The Chase Australia on Seven was next grabbing 510,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Beauty and the Geek brought in an average metro audience of 471,000.

Home and Away on Seven brought in 454,000 metro viewers, while Hot Seat on Nine saw an average of 445,000 metro viewers.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 18 July, Seven News was the top program nationally across linear, with 1.593 million viewers, including 43,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The program with the greatest uplift in the top 20 programs was 9-1-1 Lonestar on Seven with an uplift of 66%, watched by 373,000 total TV viewers, and 39,000 on BVOD.

Back to Monday’s programming, Seven News was the #1 metro program with 941,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 888,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 was next with 9876,000 metro viewers, and Nine News with 865,000 metro viewers.

A Current Affair brought in 713,000 metro viewers, ABC news saw 647,000 tune in, and ABC’s 7:30 News had 556,000 viewers in all five major capital cities.
