Ten finally reveals air date for Bachelor in Paradise: Wednesday, 15 July
Ten’s much-delayed and much-hyped Bachelor spin-off series Bachelor in Paradise finally has an air date, with the network revealing it will premiere on Wednesday 15 July at 7:30pm.
The show completed filming prior to COVID-19 wreaking havoc on television productions, but was pushed back in Ten’s schedule in favour of Masterchef – Back to Win.
Bachelor in Paradise’s supporting series, The Bachelor, had to pause production due to COVID-19, while plans for The Bachelorette have not yet been announced.
Ten’s publicity about Bachelor in Paradise’s July return focused on Ciarran Stott, a popular participant in last year’s edition of The Bachelorette fronted by Angie Kent.
“Having captured our hearts on Angie’s season of The Bachelorette Australia with his dapper dress sense, daring hair-do’s and devilish charm, it was his emotional departure that sent shock waves across the country,” the publicity release said.
“With love on his mind, sea breeze in his hair, and a cheeky new rose tattoo, he enters Paradise looking to wow the ladies. But could a little secret he’s been keeping, rain on his paradise parade?”
Last year’s season premiered to 553,000 metro viewers, and concluded to 454,000. The year prior, 750,000 watched the first episode, while 661,000 watched the final one. This jumped to 774,000 for the final segment, which included a proposal.
