Ten nips at Seven, while 7Two returns good ratings result
Ten’s Good News Week has slipped back down below the one million mark after enjoying a ratings boost last week, but the network still managed to come a close third to Seven in Monday’s ratings led by Masterchef which has cemented its ratings lead.
The cooking show attracted an average audience of 1.74m last night, according to preliminary overnight OzTam data in the main metro markets.
In overall free-to-air viewing share, Nine’s main channel was first with a 25.6 per cent, while Seven came in second with 21.9 per cent, closely followed by Ten with 21.4 per cent.
Seven’s digital channel 7Two faired better with a leading 3.9 per cent share ahead of Nine’s Go with 2.5 per cent and Ten’s digital sports channel One with 1.1 per cent.
However, the result was down from the 4.4 per cent 7Two attracted on Monday of last week.
