Ten to air Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly

Ten will be broadcasting the Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly special, hosted by Sarah Harris.

The announcement:

Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly is coming to Network 10 for the first time following the success of the Christmas with The Weekly special in December last year. The new show will be part of an integrated multi-platform event across Bauer Media’s print, digital and social channels.

Studio 10’s Sarah Harris will return to host the festive one-hour Easter special where she will be joined by editors from The Australian Women’s Weekly, together with Australian celebrities and other well-known talent from 10.

Following the format of the successful Christmas special, which reached more than 1.15 million viewers nationally and debuted to a national audience of more than 430,000 viewers, the Easter special will feature all the familiar favourites from The Weekly with a special festive twist. The show will include delicious Easter recipes, family-friendly craft ideas, the latest seasonal fashion looks, travel, party styling tips and more.

Integrated brand sponsorship opportunities will span The Weekly’s April edition, TV broadcast, Now to Love, 10 Play and Bauer’s social channels.

Nicole Byers, editor-in-chief, The Australian Women’s Weekly said the new show brings to life much-loved content from The Weekly in a way that the whole family can enjoy.

“Easter with The Weekly lifts the best of the magazine from the pages to the small screen for another entertaining event. It is a special time for our readers who are looking for good food, entertaining ideas and family fun, so we are delighted to partner with Network 10 again to bring Easter inspiration to audiences.

“We knew Christmas with The Weekly last year would resonate well with audiences but the ratings surpassed our expectations. It’s a great example of how we, and other Bauer titles, continue to diversify the way we connect with audiences and the success of offering brands truly integrated content opportunities across our platforms.”
