Tennis Australia’s head content producer Paul Moore is set to join Seven, as digital executive producer for sport.

Moore has been with Tennis Australia for the last two and a half years, managing content production and strategy for the company, and specifically around The Australian Open.

Prior to joining Tennis Australia, Moore worked as director digital for the WTA Tour and has also held the role of content manager of itv.com in the UK.

Moore will lead the Sports over the top strategy and digital content production across Seven’s major sports franchises and live events, and will be involved in the launch of 7plus later this month.

His appointment comes ahead of a major 2018 sports lineup which commences in January 2018, kicking off with The Australian Open, followed by the AFL Women’s League and AFL, Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics, and the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Saul Shtein, Seven’s head of sport said Moore would help lead the content beyond linear television.

We are about delivering the biggest events in sports to all Australians and over the coming twelve months, you will see us further build on our leadership in sports across every device.”

Clive Dickens, Seven’s chief digital officer was thrilled Moore would lead the digital content team.

“More than 11 million Australians consume sport online every month, and during 2018 we expect millions of those to be streaming and sharing the exclusive premium sports content from Seven West Media,” he added.

Moore described Seven as an “exciting challenge”.

“Sport has always been a major part of my life, and the opportunity to join Australia’s premier sports network represents an exciting challenge – particularly with the rapid pace of change across both television and digital platforms,” he said.
