Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? wins the demos

Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? topped all key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54) despite Nine’s True Story with Hamish & Andy being the most-watched entertainment program of the night overall.

Ten’s light-entertainment show had a metro audience of 804,000 metro viewers, according to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight metro ratings.

However, Nine’s True Story with Hamish & Andy which was the most-watched entertainment program for the third consecutive Monday, collecting 1.029m metro viewers, and was second to Have You Been Paying Attention? in the 25-54 age demographic.

It was just ahead of Seven’s House Rules, which pulled 1.019m metro viewers.

Ten’s Masterchef, which aired in the same time slot attracted a metro audience of 839,000.

It was also the second-most-watched program across the 16-39s, and 18-49s.

Later on in the evening, Seven’s Wanted captured 759,000 metro viewers while Nine’s Here Come The Habibs! had 638,000 metro viewers.

It was Seven which dominated news, with metro audiences of 1.215m at 6:00pm and 1.112m at 6:30pm.

Nine News had 1.056m and 1.050m metro viewers respectively in the time slots.

Seven won the average audience share with 21.7%, while Nine’s share was 17.8% and Ten had a share of 14.9%.

ABC’s share was 12.8% and SBS’ was 4.3%.
