Ten’s Socceroos match draws 447k metro viewers on Thursday

Ten’s airing of the Socceroos v Saudi Arabia World Cup Qualifier last night drew 447,000 metro viewers, and topped the 16 to 39s and 18 to 49s demos.

However, Seven’s Home and Away topped entertainment on Thursday night and Seven also had the largest network audience share.

In terms of entertainment programs, Home and Away was first with 501,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia with 473,000 metro viewers.

Next was the previously mentioned Socceroos v Saudi Arabia match, with 447,000 metro viewers.

Overall, the top program for Thursday was Seven News with 900,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 845,000 metro viewers.

In third was Nine News with 812,000 metro viewers and then Nine News 6.30 had 803,000 metro viewers. Nine News 6.30 also topped the 25 to 54 demo. Nine’s A Current Affair was next with 625,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, Seven had the largest network audience share with 28.3%, followed by Nine with 27.7%. Ten was third with 19.5%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for Thursday 4 November, Seven News was the number one program nationally across linear television with 1.493 million viewers and 29,000 on BVOD.

For entertainment, Ten’s Gogglebox was top with 939,000 viewers nationally and 23,000 from BVOD, a lift of 23%.

The program with the highest lift was Nine’s Love Island with 130% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 496,000 metro viewers, with 193,000 viewers from national BVOD.
