The Accompany Group launches circular sustainability project ‘Round and Round’

Indie agency The Accompany Group has launched a digital platform aiming to further a circular economy in Sydney, called ‘Round and Round’.

Independent brand and design agency, The Accompany Group has launched a digital platform called Round and Round. It provides residents a ‘one stop shop’ service with know-how and local connections to go circular and further a more sustainable Sydney.

The call-out for circularity is to maximise usage and longevity of our products to minimise waste in landfill. In support of this model, Round and Round connects communities in Sydney with responsible ways to reuse, repair and rehome their wares.

The new initiative, Round and Round aims to bring about a social movement, drive behavioural change and encourage people to make better choices with their personal consumption and household waste, and be advocates for the risks and opportunities of a sustainable agenda.

Linda Jukic, founder and executive creative director of The Accompany Group said, “As the platform name suggests, we want people using things repeatedly, making the most of what they own and, ultimately, joining the circularity loop.

“There are many places to help make the most of what we hold as individuals and households and keep them in use as much as possible, however there is no single, comprehensive eco-system bringing these offerings together in a dynamic, inspiring way.

“Round and Round fulfils that need. We want people to develop new habits and prioritise reusing, repairing and rehoming over recycling and disposal. We hope it will be a well-loved and well-frequented resource.

“At a company level, we set out to fund and actualise a principle that our team could unite behind to become active change agents. So, at Accompany we put our creative skills and knowledge to good use, and created a bold, bright and simple to use platform that contributes to a better future.”

Through regular delivery of relevant content and compelling communication design which combines specially crafted animation, illustration, design and copywriting by Accompany, Round and Round will improve awareness and education of circular services.

For over six months, the team at The Accompany Group undertook extensive research for the Sydney pilot program, and in collaboration with digital partner Ten Two, developed the initiative Round and Round.

Project participants will gain access to active Sydney influencers and providers of reusing, repairing and rehoming services and also important top-tips and information on the issue.

Round and Round is now available and live for use by the public.
