Expedia draws a pavement picture for travellers
A series of chalk artworks will appear in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth for online travel company Expedia to promote its international destinations.
The artwork, a series of aeroplane windows looking out to various cities across the world, made its debut in Brisbane today and will finish up in Perth on June 11.
Michael Fishwick, from The Ambient Group which created the work, said: “Creating interaction and word-of-mouth with young, fast moving commuters can be tricky, but this type of activity does just that.”
Expedia’s marketing and communications manager Amee Evans said: “Australians love to travel, and the chalk drawings are designed to inspire people to do just that.”
