The Australian Marketing Institute appoints Icon Agency as its PR partner for a second year

The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) has again engaged Icon Agency as its PR partner for all national communications.

Icon Agency will be amplifying the AMI’s media presence, collaborating with the organisation’s marketing efforts to reposition the marketing profession, and establishing its Certified Practising Marketer designation as the gold standard qualification.

Icon Agency will be responsible for all communications for the AMI

AMI Chair, Lynda Cavalera, said in a statement: “Following the success of the partnership in 2018, we are thrilled to get Icon on board for another year. We look forward to working with Joanne Painter and her team, to help the Australian Marketing Institute deliver on its mission through PR, including progressing thought leadership and the marketing profession.

“Icon will build on our strategic positioning and media insights to build professionalism in the industry, reaffirm the importance of ongoing professional development and celebrate excellence in marketing at our annual Awards nights.

Icon Agency’s managing director, Joanne Painter, said the agency now had an opportunity to further align its PR and marketing practice.
