The Australian Olive Oil Association elevates ‘Get Drizzling’ platform with JOY
The Australian Olive Oil Association has released “the next evolution of the ‘Get Drizzling’ Campaign’, via a collaboration with JOY.
The announcement:
The Australian Olive Oil Association in partnership with JOY have launched the next evolution of the ‘Get Drizzling’ Campaign, inspiring Aussies to transform everyday dishes from Blah to Ahhh!
Building on the incredible success of the 2023 launch, the Australian Olive Oil Association (AOOA), in partnership with JOY, is back with a bolder, more ambitious ‘Get Drizzling’ campaign. In 2025, we’re doubling down on the transformative power of olive oil, showcasing its ability to elevate everyday meals from ordinary to extraordinary. This new campaign takes things to the next level with more influencers, a bigger budget, and a stronger commitment to driving real action in kitchens across Australia.
Olive oil is one of the world’s best flavour enhancers, yet many Australians still use it only for dressing salads or dipping bread. Most Aussies are unaware of its broad ranging flavour potential, so we’re calling on them to take action and change that. By encouraging people to embrace olive oil as the ultimate finishing touch, we’re showing them how a simple drizzle can unlock flavour, aroma, and texture, transforming any dish from ‘blah’ to ‘ahhh!’
Behaviour change is hard, so we moved beyond the views of olive groves and Mediterranean landscapes. Instead, we developed a bold, integrated campaign that breaks through the noise, putting creativity, energy, and real life application at its core.
The 2025 ‘Get Drizzling’ campaign continues to inspire Australians to embrace this simple but impactful habit, using a broader and more diverse lineup of authentic and influential tastemakers. Led by Khanh Ong, alongside an expanded roster of dynamic food creators including Stephanie Feher, Sophie Rindfleish, Mel Melbourne, Kayla La Manna, Malissa Fedele, Daniel Lamble and Lucy Rosenberg. With flair and fun, our tastemakers demonstrate how finishing a dish with olive oil can turn the everyday into something extraordinary, encouraging Australians to pick up the bottle and get drizzling.
“This year’s social-first, evolution of the campaign re-engages influential foodies, while expanding our message with a wider pool of social influencers. Shareability is at the core of our message through drool-worthy content with recipes and olive oil hacks that anyone can try!” – Nick Kyprianou-Brown, Social Director
To continue this momentum, we’ve maintained the fresh and vibrant visual identity developed in year one. With a unique colour palette that embodies the joy and energy of great food, our brand elements are designed specifically for the digital space, ensuring we stop the scroll and leave a lasting impression on consumers.
“The campaign comes at an important time for the industry. Last year olive oil prices hit a record high and we saw consumers leave the category because of cost of living pressures. This year, prices will be coming down so it’s the perfect time to promote olive oil and remind consumers about the flavour olive oil delivers, with just a drizzle.” – David Valmorbida, President of the Australian Olive Oil Association
“Working with our wonderful client partners at the AOOA, we’re building on 2023’s success – getting more Aussies drizzling olive oil in transformative and creative ways.” – Libby Young, Creative Director
In 2025, we’re calling on Australians to Get Drizzling. This campaign is more than just inspiration – it’s a direct invitation to take action. Pick up the olive oil bottle and drizzle generously to take your dish from Blah to Ahhh!
