The Block wins entertainment as Nine wins Monday

Nine’s The Block was the #1 entertainment program on Monday night, as the network also celebrated an overall network share win.

The Block brought in a metro audience of 876,000, while also winning key advertising demo 18-49 and 25-54.

Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was next in entertainment pulling in a metro audience of 684,000, while also winning key advertising demo, 16-39.

Seven’s Home And Away brought in 631,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s The Chase Australia pulled in 612,000 metro viewers. An episode of ABC’s Australian Story saw a metro audience of 602,000 tune in.

SAS Australia on Seven pulled in a metro audience of 599,000, followed by Ten’s The Masked Singer episode which had 597,000 metro viewers. The Masked Singer’s big reveal at the end of the episode saw 719,000 metro viewers tune in.

The #1 program on Monday was Seven News, which had an average of 1.137 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6.30 with 1.059 million, and Nine News with 1.032 million metro viewers. Nine News had the same metro audience as last Monday.

As previously mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28.7% over Seven’s 25.3%, while Ten had a 21.2% network share, and ABC had 17.1%.

Nine also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Monday was Ten Bold with a share of 3.3%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 20 September, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear and BVOD television, with 1.852 million viewers including 41,000 on BVOD.

The Block was #1 entertainment program with 1.406 million viewers, including a BVOD audience of 191,000 views, an uplift of 24%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Seven’s SAS Australia which had a 32% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 1.236 million viewers overall.
